 "Livin' on a Prayer"
On September 7th 1977 Emery Carl was rushed to the hospital in the back of a 73' Cadillac by an 80 year old woman at 100 mph down a back country road and born. His life hasn't slowed down much since. After a variety of colleges he became a youth minister, worship director, and spent 10 years in the United States Air Force National Guard. Seeking to serve both God and Country with a genuine love in his heart, he discovered these ends could be met by presenting his song and dance on the street, from the suits to the skids, a crossroads of culture and class, the end line of citizen and beloved. He is continually challenged by being dependent on the truly "faith based" income of giving his all and seeing what returns. His journey continues to test faith in the face of fear and is full of both victory and defeat. An honest effort to maintain balance and peace in the midst of chaos is his light to shine and cross to bear. All of this comes through in his lyrics, music, and performance delivering something for everyone. So take a look and give a listen.
I have written congress concerning the: "Billion Dollar Busker Bailout"
until then, it's just us.
